School Choir
Pictured is our school choir who performed brilliantly at Newry Feis and achieved a fantastic third place. Our boys and girls can be so proud of themselves. They practised so hard under the guidance of Mrs O'Callaghan and Miss Claire McEvoy and fully deserved this award. Adjudicators remarked how great it was to see a small school like St. Mary's Dechomet compete so well with much larger schools.
Our Solo Singers
Pictured are our solo singers who competed so well at Newry Feis Singing Competitions. It is a great credit to all the boys and girls that they can perform so well on stage to such a large audience. Each and everyone was extremely brave and performed brilliantly on the day. A big thank you also to Mrs O'Callaghan and Miss Claire McEvoy for guiding our pupils so well. Well done everyone!
Year 7 pupil comes First!
One of our Year 7 pupils took 'GOLD' back to school from Newry Music Feis. What a fantastic achievement! He received a Distinction in Grade One violin.
