We look forward to welcoming your children back on 1st September and are hopeful that school will be open for the full school year.

In order to keep staff, pupils, parents and the community safe we will continue to implement the policies and procedures we had in place last year with regard to Covid19. Pupils msy arrive from 8.45am but collection times will remain staggered as follows:
Reception/P1 Collection at 1.50pm

P2/3 Collection at 2pm each day. P3 finish 2pm on Tuesday and Friday and 3pm on the other days.

P4/5 Collection at 3pm

P6/7 Collection at 3.10pm

Parents must not enter the school however they may walk their children to their allocated door.

P6/7 will enter and leave by their annex door
P4/5 will enter/leave by front cloakroom door
P 2/3 will enter/leave by library door just through gates after the office
Reception/P1 will enter/leave by office door.

New Reception and P1 children will be greeted at the door on the first day and walked in. All children must continue to use the sanitizer provided inside each entrance. The children will be brought to each door at hometime where you can collect them as usual. Can parents please continue to drop and go and collect and go and please wear a mask in the yard. Staff will continue to wear masks and where possible socially distance from one another. Children must continue to bring antibacterial wipes with them. Our strict cleaning routine will continue with desks being cleaned during the day and the antibacterial vaporiser being used daily. We are concerned that Covid19 is still with us and we want to ensure the safety of all.

As normal, pupils must bring their own pencils, pens, glue sticks etc and they will not be allowed to share these with other pupils. PE uniform may be worn into school on PE days. We will tell your children their PE days when they return to school. PE uniform is a white polo shirt and navy shorts or tracksuit bottoms. These may be purchased online from myclothing.com or McKenny's Menswear, Castlewellan.

Breakfast club and afterschool club will operate from 1st September however children will continue to sit in their class bubble. Breakfast club is open from 8am at a cost of £2 per day. All afterschool clubs are now £2.50 each. These are the 2-3 club, the 3-4 club and the 4-5 club. For example, if your child stays from 2pm until 5pm this will cost £7.50 per child. Booking forms will be sent home during the first week back to complete. All payments must be made via our online platform as no money will be accepted in school. Dinner money must also be paid in this way. This is to assist the ever increasing workload in our office and we appreciate your cooperation.
