Engineer Leader Awards
Years 4 - 7 took part in the Primary Engineer Leaders Award. The children were faced with the question: "If you were an engineer what would you do?" The children thought of a problem and created a product as a solution to the problem.
Four of our pupils, Caelan and Niamh (both Year 4), Sean (Year 5) and Ellie (Year 6), were selected as Winners for their respective age groups and each received a trophy recognising that fact at an Award Ceremony on 19th June at Ulster University. All four, also, had their illustrations on display at the Public Exhibition, held at the University, on 20th June.
As well as our fantastic 4 winners, the following pupils, 8 of whom were specifically mentioned during the final phase and were considered as “Judges’ Highly Commended” and 2 other pupils whose work was shortlisted had their work on display at this year’s inaugural Primary Engineer Leaders Award Public Exhibition held at Ulster University on 20th June.
