Our very hard working 'SMART' Support Team are to be congratulated for their tremendous work in organising a fundraising 'Go Kart' run to raise funds for our new sports pitch which will be constructed in 2016. The simple idea of having a 'Go Kart' run spiralled into a fantastic 'Fun Day' for young and not so young alike with children and adults all taking part. This coupled with the fantastic array of side shows and the ongoing provision of tea, sandwiches and all sorts of goodies meant that everyone had a most enjoyable day. Everything was organised to the finest detail and all enhanced by the witty but informative comments from the commentary box. It was also great to have 'Miss Tayto' handing out a variety of packets of crisp and a special feature at the end was the rally car display. Thanks to all who brought their rally cars along and for showing us a bit of rally action.
The event has raised a tremendous £15,000 which will go towards the construction of our new pitch. Sincere thanks to everyone!
