To Our School Family
Dear Parents, pupils and friends,
It was so terribly hard today to stand and hand out learning packs to you. We felt deeply sad and could see you felt the same. It was so hard waving to many children waiting in cars. We now feel empty because our classes are empty. We already miss the sound of children, laughter and fun. We are praying for our whole community. We pray that each family stays safe and you all will be in our thoughts and in our hearts every day. Our job is our vocation, each of us does it because we love it. We are so lucky to work in this community, to know you so well, to have your support and to work together. These are such tough times for everyone in every household. We need to continue to support each other and to care for those most in need. We may not have classes back to normal for some time, we just don't know. We ask you to always remember, your children mean the world to us. They are part of our family. To our wonderful Year 7 children: we are devastated that your final months of primary school have been taken from you. We make a promise to organise a wonderful celebratory event for you, even if it has to be September. We will make it something for you to remember. Children, parents, friends, we will have to see, day by day and week by week what lies ahead. The safety of you all will be a priority. Stay safe, you will all be in our prayers. Oonagh McNally
