Year 5 and 6 have had great fun reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in class. It linked in with our topic 'Confectionery'. Our class was given the challenge to design a new treat that Willy Wonka would love to have in his factory. The children used their imagination and came up with their own name for their treat. Mars Delights, Choco Mallows, Slurpee Surprise, Fudge Mallows, Strawberry Surprise, Smart Mallows, Choc 'a' Block, Rocking Road and Heroes were among the great names the children chose. So, watch out in your local shop as we're sure they will be on the shelves soon!
