Year 7 Topic 'Food'

As an extension of their topic on 'Food' the Year Seven pupils have been planting potatoes for growing. This involved preparing the soil and adding compost. They also allowed the seed potatoes to 'chit' for a number of weeks and the potato plants have already been growing prior to planting. They now look forward to looking after them and harvesting them later in the summer.
